Pakalensis spore syringes are from a mystical strain of Psilocybe cubensis, originally foraged near the sacred Mayan ruins of Palenque in the jungle of Chiapas, Mexico. It was found by Pekon Metsa in 2013, who then gave it to Earth’s Tongue for distribution. It was named after the Mayan king of Palenque, Pakal the Great, who ruled from 615 to 685, a time of great prosperity for the region.

Pakalensis cubensis mushrooms have big beautiful fruits with golden brown, almost starburst caps that can curl up a little bit around the edges. Their stems are pretty solid and white, and their spores are unique because although they are light in deposit, they are a rusty brown color.
