No. InoculateTheWorld strictly sells mushroom spores. InoculateTheWorld does not sell mushrooms of any kind.

We do not ship Psilocybe mushrooms spores to California, Georgia or Idaho. Residents of these three states are not restricted from ordering other items on our site, such as shirts, gourmet cultures, tinctures and more! Billing addresses to these 3 states are ok.

Please join your local mycological society for identification practice. As long time members of both the Oregon and Puget Sound Mycological Societies, we highly recommend you joining your local club. Foraging is a fantastic hobby for all ages. Particularly those with a desire for the unknown. 

Due to the time and fees associated with processing spore orders, we have a strict no-cancellation policy. If you require your order be cancelled, please contact us within 12 hours and you will be fully refunded, minus a 7.5% restock fee.

At this time, all orders are exclusively shipped through USPS Priority Mail. This excludes FlowHoods, which are sent via Fedex. USPS can experience delays during holidays and severe weather. Rest assured we will work with you to ensure a timely delivery of your product.

It says nothing about mushrooms on the outside of your package.

So long as the syringes did not crack, once thawed out they will be completely fine to use.

To avoid lengthy delays in transit, we exclusively ship through USPS priority mail. If you are in a location where temperatures reach below 30 degrees, we reccomend choosing our “temperature control” add-on at checkout. We use alcohol based gels packs to provide more thermal mass to your package, which slows down the freezing process of anything around it. While rare, syringes may still freeze in transit they are left in your mailbox for many hours.

WE DO NOT REPLACE STOLEN ITEMS. ONCE A PACKAGE HAS LEFT OUR HANDS, IT IS OUT OF OUR CONTROL. IF YOU ARE CONCERNED OF MAIL BEING STOLEN FROM YOUR HOME, BUY A PO BOX. On a case-by-case scenario we will offer you a discounted price to re-order your items, but will not re-ship to an address that has had packages stolen before. THANKS FOR UNDERSTANDING.

When you place an order through our site, take the time to ensure you enter your address correctly. Any orders placed with bad addresses will be pushed back one week to ensure everyone else gets full attention on their orders. If you need to change your address, the only way to do so is email us at support@inoculatetheworld.com.

For close-up viewing of spores, simply utilize a tool to transfer the spores to a glass slide. Cover the slide with a cover slip and place the slide onto the stage of your microscope. For a great beginner microscope we reccomend buying an Amscope B120 Compound Microscope. 

Under proper care, spores are viable for years. We have seen spores still viable after 35 years!

Storing gourmet cultures in an airtight container inside the refrigerator is best.

We collect many of our cultures ourselves from the wild. We also rely greatly on you all for helping us access unique and rare fungi. We abide strictly to all state and federal foraging guidelines, and encourage our customers to do the same.

No. To ensure even opportunities for all customers, we do not take pre-orders or reservations on any items.
