Dominican Republic Spore Prints come from an ITW exclusive strain of Psilocybe cubensis, foraged by our founder Drew. This wild, landrace cubensis was found deep in Parque Nacional El Choco in Cabartee, Dominican Republic. 

After ATV’ing for over three hours through the muddy mountainous trails in El Choco, Drew and his family members came upon some unincorporated cattle fields in the jungle. They asked the local farmers for permission to search the fields for mushrooms, and sure enough under the tall wild grass, large cubensis were found growing out of cattle dung.

Dominican Republic Cubensis mushrooms are heavy spore producers with big golden caps and thick hollow stems, and we are proud to be the first one’s to share them with the mushroom community.
