The Maria Sabina cubensis strain is a truly one-of-a-kind cubensis, with traits that bring something new to the genetics community. The strain gets its name from its parent genetic, “Huautla”, short for Huautla de Jiménez, a town in the Sierra Mazateca area of the Mexican state of Oaxaca in southern Mexico.
The original Huautla cubensis grow was super funky, producing some chocolate crinkle looking fruits. Wombat labeled it “HTF”, short for Huat the F***. The very next generation was a pure albino with two distinct phenotypes, one with a standard albino look, the other being slower, with an odd crooked look to them, and the beginning of the ruffled caps you see in the photos. This was the birth of the Maria Sabina strain. To learn more about Maria Sabina, click here for an article written by ITWNEWS. This incredibly rhizo strain produces lots of albino spores, invisible to the naked eye.
Whether you are just starting out, or are an advanced mycologist, our Maria Sabina spores are a must have for your collection!
