Mexican Dutch King Spore Syringes are from a prolific strain of Psilocybe cubensis that’s extremely popular in Amsterdam. Also known as “Dutch King” or “MDK,” these mushrooms were originally foraged in Mexico and then propagated in the Netherlands.

Mexican Dutch King mushrooms are one of our favorites here at ITW because of the ginormous size of their very potent caps. MDK mushroom caps are also unique because they’re a very dark, caramel brown with a sunburst texture that forms a white ring around the edge when they fan out. Mexican Dutch King spores are a purple color and extremely heavy in deposit, while their stems are big, thick and hollow.
