Description
A wild culture of Stropharia rugosoannulata, commonly known as “wine caps”. Wine caps are a delicious and high yielding mushroom. Renowned for their rigorous mycelium, king stropharia can easily take over a field of straw substrate in a single season. We enjoy adding “wine cap” beds between our tomato rows in the hoop house, both keeping the weeds down between crops, while adding healthy mycorhizae to the greenhouse environment.
