The original Tosohatchee, foraged by Inoculate The World’s founder, Drew 2021, is now a household name in the mushroom community.

Four years later, Drew revisited the same area in the Tosohatchee wetlands and discovered another specimen, which provided the original genetics for Tosohatchee F1. These spores come from the first domestication of the wild spores Drew harvested that day. Because these are true landrace spores, they provide a wealth of genetic diversity, and the potential for new strains with dozens of different phenotypes from color, size, speed, or other attributes.
