Foraged by InoculateTheWorld in 2023, Debary cubensis is the newest wild strain to hit the ITW site. Drew collected this during a foray in central Florida, around the same time he was revisiting the Tosohatchee Wetlands.
Spore features: Debary Cubensis spores are purple / brown in color, and produce light dustings across canopies.
Cap / Stem features: Being fresh from the wild, it is common to see debary stems as large as 12 inches. The stems are thick and white in color.
Lineage: Debary cubensis was foraged in the wild by our owner Drew. He collected the original wild sample from a cattle field in Debary, Florida in 2023.
