Gymnopilus leuteofolius, “Laughing-Jim”, found in the wild of WA State. They are completely bizarre little fungi, taking on an appearance as far from its original form as possible. While relatively low in potency, Gymnopilus are an excellent exotic mushroom for any cultivator to practice with. Spores are bright, rusty orange. Spores 6-9 x 4.5-5.5 um; warty; elliptical; dextrinoid.
